Does this Sound Familiar?
I decided to consult George after talking to
several of his clients and hearing about the improvements they
had experienced through his bio-energy therapy.
Put simply, I had been feeling bogged down by life and had become
negative and irritable around my immediate family, often quite
volatile and highly impatient. For someone who used to be
pretty laid back and always so upbeat, I was aware that life should
have been much more enjoyable and was frustrated that it had changed.
I was also aware that I had changed, perhaps just by normal life
events, and wanted the ‘old me’ back. I often felt
suppressed by other people’s negativity and was spending
so much time dealing with family life and often trying to keep
other people ‘up’ to see that I, myself, needed some
attention to try and turn things around.
The first session was probably the most dramatic of all. Even
just talking through how I was feeling was a major release but
I definitely felt as if a major burden and cloud had been lifted
as the day went on, and the following day. I woke up and almost
embarked on a ‘clearing out’ spree which George later
told me was quite a normal reaction to the early stages of bio-energy
therapy. It was as if I was clearing out anything unnecessary,
any junk in my life to make way for the new me. This continued,
as did other similar behaviours. I also became significantly
more patient with the things that were previously making me so
frustrated and had developed this new ‘ability’ to
block out annoying, frustrating or other negative emotions that
were previously getting to me on an almost constant basis.
On a secondary level, I should add that George also did a little
work on my right knee which had been giving me a lot of pain due
to running – the pain had gone by the next morning and has
yet to return! I was astounded and remain so, because I
thought this was something I was just going to have to live with.
Things have progressed to the point that I now feel very different
and significantly better than I did. I’m communicating better,
feeling much more positive and spur-of-the-moment about things,
finding it easier to enjoy life rather than always feeling either
frustrated, irritated or bogged down and have also started a few
new activities such as joining a running club, doing things I
had perhaps put off and making more time for friends. As awful
as it sounds, I have perhaps also learnt to be a little bit more
‘selfish’ – but in a good way, basically spending
more time focusing on my own thoughts, need and emotions than
everyone else’s.
